Pauline Mundia is the Project Manager for the BvAT’s Farmer Communication Outreach
She holds a Master of Science in Horticulture degree from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, a Bachelor degree in Horticulture from Egerton University and a Diploma in Community Based Development from Premese Africa. She is a certified Monitoring and Evaluation professional from Kenya Institute of Management.
Pauline has over 15 years’ experience in the agricultural sector from both the public and private sectors. She has worked as a Programme Assistant at African Agricultural Technology Foundation (AATF) where she provided logistical and technical support to the Technical Operations Department. She has also served as an extension officer with the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Kenya in various capacities, the last position being District Crops Development Officer where her job involved co-ordination of crop development programmes and projects in the district, as well as monitoring and evaluation of all agricultural programmes in the district.
Her main duties are:
- To manage and co-ordinate all the activities of the Farmer Resource Centres of Biovision Farmer Communication Programme and the EOA Initiative aimed at supporting exchange of information, networking of groups, the provision of skills and training.
- To enhance further collaboration with other Biovision-sponsored projects in the 4-H (human, animal, plant and environmental health) and other like-minded partners to promote dissemination of sustainable agriculture practices and technologies.
