Chris Bundi Rwanda

Chris is an Agricultural Extension and Rural Development professional with over 12 years’ experience in management and coordination of diverse project interventions in the agricultural sector in Kenya with the Government of Kenya and non-governmental organizations. Prior to joining BvAT, he was working with DanChurch Aid (DCA) as Programme Officer Food Security and Livelihoods in Turkana County. He has previously with the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) as a Project Officer-Agriculture and Livelihoods, Turkana County, a Sub-County Livestock Production Officer-Department of Livestock Production, Tharaka Nithi County, and Livestock Production Officer, Government of Kenya, State Department of Livestock Production.

He holds a Msc.in Agricultural Information and Communication Management specialising in Agricultural Knowledge Management and a B. Sc.in Agricultural Education and Extension, both from the University of Nairobi. He also has pursued various Certificate courses as part of Continuous Professional Development on Food Security Analysis, Financial Management for Development Professionals, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) and, a Certificate Course on Climate Change from the UN Training Institute. Chris is a certified Project Management professional with APMG International. He is very passionate on matters agricultural extension.
