Amos Meme is the Fundraising and Resource Mobilization Officer at BvAT.

Mr. Meme is a dedicated professional with over 8 years of experience in the design and management of humanitarian and development projects in the fields of WASH, Agriculture, Climate change & Environment, Human Rights, Livelihoods promotion, and Child Safeguarding. Amos has a rich experience in Resource Mobilization, Research, Grants Management, Donor & Stakeholder Relations, Monitoring & Evaluation, and Networking.

Prior to joining Bio-vision Africa Trust, Amos has been a Programs Coordinator at the Planning & Development Office in Don Bosco Eastern Africa, majorly in charge of mobilizing resources and managing grants for the programs across the region. Before then, he worked with different projects at the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights, Lutheran World Federation –Dadaab Main Office, Department of Gender Children and Social Development and the Nairobi City County Headquarters.

Amos holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with ICT from Maseno University with minors in International Relations & Development Studies. He has certificates in Public Policy Formulation implementation and Analysis from the Kenya School of Government, Legal Drafting from the Kenya School of Law, Child Safeguarding & Protection from Tangaza University College. He is currently undertaking a virtual course in Project Planning & Management at the Cambridge Home Study Center.

 

Amos’ engagement with development and humanitarian work over time has been driven by his passion and conviction in empowering humanity into living a dignified and fulfilling life, especially those at the bottom of the social stratum.
