SUMMARY:Biovision Africa Trust's EOA Initiative team of Dr. David Amudavi\, Alex Mutungi and Venancia Wambua are attending the Launch of the 3rd CAADP BR Critical analysis event.
DESCRIPTION:The Objectives of the launch of the Critical Analysis  \nThe objective of the meeting is to launch the critical analysis of the 3rd BR process. More specifically\, during the 2 half-days\, the meeting will aim to: \n\nBuild a common understanding of the Critical Analysis\, its objectives and the process envisaged.\nReview expectations and commitment of BR Task Force Technical Working Group members to continue supporting the BR process.\nProvide an opportunity for each Technical Working Group\, AUC\, AUDA\, RECS\, NSA’s to discuss issues pertinent to the Critical Analysis including:\n\nTWG group composition.\nInitial reflections on challenges with assigned indicators.\nA preliminary analysis of what needs to be done.\nResources requirements.\n\n\nDiscuss any progress on communications and advocacy of the 3rd BR so far.\n\nExpected Outputs \nThe expected outputs of this meeting will be as follows: \n\nThe objectives and process of the Critical analysis understood by all.\nAll the BR Technical Working Groups (TWGs) properly constituted with clear work plans for the Critical Analysis.\nAn initial discussion on data and process issues raised by stakeholders.\nThe critical analysis of the 3rd BR process launched.\n\nDate and Venue  \nThe meeting will be virtual and is expected to last 2 days (3-4 hours per day)\, on the 26th and 27th May 2022 \nParticipants  \nThe meeting will bring together AUC\, AUDA-NEPAD\, RECs\, AK2063\, FAO\, IFPRI\, AGRA\, BR Task Force leaders\, Technical Working Group leaders and members\, experts and stakeholders.
