Andreas Schriber is the CEO and co-founder of the Swiss based NGO Biovision Foundation for Ecological Development, established in 1998. As a trained journalist Andreas has been involved in environmental and development issues for over three decades. He has worked as a successful environmental journalist, film-maker, science editor in various organizations including World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Switzerland and the Swiss National Public Television, amongst other numerous freelance assignments for other fine Broadcasters. He holds a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) and Executive-MBA degrees from the University of Applied Sciences from Northwestern Switzerland. In 1999 he was awarded the Knight Science Journalism Fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In his current position as the CEO of Biovision Foundation, he continues to work in the field of communication and knowledge dissemination, in the not-for-profit sector, with focus on improving livelihoods of people living in developing countries in Africa.
