Biovision was founded with the aim of sustainably improving life for people in Africa while conserving the environment as the basis for all life. Biovision Foundation is a charitable organization in Switzerland (ZEWO certified) and has a legal opinion for 501(c) (3) public charity equivalency in the United States. Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC)is the state run media organization of Kenya. KBC radio broadcasts in both English and Swahili as well as in most local languages of Kenya. It aims to inform, educate and entertain the public through radio and television services and thereby propagate all that consolidates national unity, peace, love and development. To this effect, it has a broader listener-ship and it’s on this basis that we collaborate with KBC radio and host a programme on Ecological Organic Agriculture practices under the auspices of TOF Radio.

The Swedish Society for Nature Conservation (SSNC) is a charitable environmental organization that endeavors to; spread knowledge, map environmental threats, create solutions, and influence politicians and public authorities, at both national and international levels. It is also behind one of the world’s most challenging ecolabellings, “Bra Miljöval” (Good Environmental Choice). Climate, the oceans, forests, environmental toxins, and agriculture are its main thematic areas of involvement. It is due to our promotion of sustainable farming methods that it is one of our major donors.

Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) focuses its long-term development assistance on a limited number of countries, both worldwide and in Africa. It works in the areas of: Decentralisation and governance for poverty reduction; Social and physical well-being; Infrastructure and rural roads support (phased out); Economic growth which recently was refocused on Private Sector Development in Agriculture. This refocusing in Agriculture is what brought us together and is therefore supporting our projects in Tanzania.

The Ministry of Agriculture is mandated to promote and facilitate production of food and agricultural raw materials for food security and incomes; advance agro based industries and agricultural exports; and enhance sustainable use of land resources as a basis for agricultural enterprises. Ours is to disseminate information aimed at promoting this.
